Maybeboard

Have you Ever been in a 2 hour EDH game and would happily do anything to end it?

This is deck is meant to prevent this problem.

Mana Base:

The mana base is the most important part of any Omnath, Locus of Rage deck. It is necessary to get as many triggers off of Omnath while he is on the battlefield. Remember, Lands that sacrifice for another land trigger Omnath multiple times.

This is probably the most justified use of fetch lands in an EDH deck ever, so run them if you have them. I like the Panoramas and the Mirage Fetches as well.

Other awesome lands are Blighted Woodland, which can trigger Omnath 3 times if it is sacrificed. Kessig Wolf Run and Skarrg, the Rage Pits give a creature trample and pumps it up as well. Gruul Turf can eventually give you 3 triggers off Omnath.Geier Reach Sanitarium helps with card draw as red and green typically struggle in this area. Splendid Reclamation is a must in this deck as it brings back all sacrificed lands in your graveyard, which can then be sacrificed again. Parallel Lives doubles the Omnath trigger.

Ramp

Feel free to put every ramp card you own in Omnath. Boundless Realms, Exploration, Animist's Awakening are all great in the area. Sword of the Animist is also useful. It is hard to go wrong here.

Creatures

There are so many directions you can go with creatures it's hard to choose. I have some elemental themed cards in here like Rakka Mar and Flamekin Harbinger. Creatures like Avenger of Zendikar are good and he is an elemental but, there are better creatures to spend all of the mana on. Omnath, Locus of Rage and Rakka Mar will give you more than enough dead elemental's to trigger the lightning bolt on Omnath. I chose to use Hydras in this deck because it gives flexibility in how to distribute the mana. Managorger Hydra is a huge threat if it hits the board early. Heroes' Bane can get out of control quickly. Phyrexian Hydra must be dealt with, especially if it has trample. If you add a source that gives Trample with Dictate of the Twin Gods or Furnace of Rath you begin killing people. Shaman of Forgotten Ways is great early game and can win you the game at the end.

Keeping It Short:

Dictate of the Twin Gods and Furnace of Rath double all damage. Fumiko the Lowblood forces everyone to swing each turn. Grand Melee does a similar effect and No Quarter allows you to kill anything that blocks your elemental's. Leyline of Punishment prevents anyone from escaping death through life gain. Jaya Ballard, Task Mage is there to disrupt the blue mage at the table.

Planeswalkers and Gods:

Nissa, Worldwaker is one of the best cards in the deck as every ability has synergy with the deck. Xenagos, the Reveler does everything a Gruul Planeswalker should do. The three gods give extremely useful effects to all creatures and are indestructible as well.

Cleanup:

The rest of the cards are a combination of pet cards as well as cards that work well with the rest of the deck. Omnath seems like a very flexible deck. It can backfire but at least it will be quick. I have a feeling that a Elemental/Eldrazi deck could be insanely good.

Thanks for Reading.
