Lets venture to a dark part of modern that should never have come to light, I present to you: Azorius Monsters. "But how?" you might say, diligent reader, aren't UW decks control decks? Well maybe the deck tech can help you understand:

This deck utilities the 'hush' effects of Torpor Orb and Hushwing Gryff to drop either Eater of Days or Leveler and smash in for some damage. Torpor orb is the preferred method of doing so as it is less vulnerable to removal that the Gryff due to its non-creature nature. Torpor Orb is usually played more often than the Gryff due to the fact that it (as well as both our beaters) can be tutored by Fabricate if necessary.

The remainder of the deck is fairly tempo based slowing our opponents to make our beaters even more effective. Remand, Mana Leak, and Spell Pierce can be used to protect our beaters from removal or to prevent our opponents from dropping threats. [[Path to Exile is used to remove opposing threats that we are unable to counter. Celestial Colonnade is an alternate beater if our opponents consistently remove our 'hush' effects (looking at you Abrupt Decay) and can also dodge any sorcery speed removal that our opponents may have.

If you like the deck feel free to +1 and leave a comment, especially if you have any suggestions for the sideboard, thanks.
