Humans and Counters is a fast acting, build up deck. A nice mix of aggro and midrange makes for really fun gameplay. You will want your Hardened Scales out on turn one in most cases, and if not you better have a different 1-drop ready to go. If you like this deck feel free to give it a +1!

With a Metallic Mimic on the board, you can cast Mikaeus, the Lunarch for only .

Elite Scaleguard is a win condition in itself.

This is a kind of budget deck. The only reason this isn't necessarily tournament ready is because I'm cheaping out for the lands. Besides that, every card has value and I'm really happy with how it's looking so far.

Best Case Scenario:

T1: Plains + Champion of the Parish

T2: Forest + Hardened Scales + Champion of the Parish

T3: Any land + Abzan Falconer

T4: Any land + Abzan Battle Priest

At this point you will have a 7/7 Flying Lifelink and a 5/5 Flying Lifelink.
