Modern Aggro Angels Competitive Control Humans

Sideboard

Maybeboard

A human/angel control deck. Being able to control any creatures the opponent will throw out, and prevent taking damage from some of the spells he/she use.

Could use some feedback.

--Creatures--

  • Gideon's Avenger - Proberly the best creature card in this deck. The fact that it get +1/+1 every time one of my opponents creatures become tapped, is just resulting i massive damage within a few turns.

  • Gideon's Lawkeeper - Only one drop creature in the deck. Good synergy with Gideon's Avenger , and at the same time being able to tap one creature every turn, is massive when you are running out of instant and sorcerys tap cards.

  • Augury Adept - This is card is not an Angel or Human, but it gives a lot of tempo and quite a bit of damage early on.

  • Imposing Sovereign - A good card to keep my enemies in check, Another way to preventing opponents from blocking/attack(if it has haste) in the same turn they drop it.

  • Grand Abolisher - A great card. Preventing opponents for casting spells in my turn, for only two mana. What's not to like?

  • Angel of Jubilation - Giving +1/+1 to all my creatures, while at the same time adding a create control against some decks.

  • Angelic Overseer - This card gives a lot of damage later on, while at the same time is hard to get rid of if I control a human.

  • Sunblast Angel - A good late game board wipe for this deck.

  • Angel of Glory's Rise - Good late game card. Very useful against deck running a lot of removal and ofc zombies:D

--Enchantments--

--Instants--

  • Brave the Elements - Giving all my creatures protection from a color of my choice for just 1 mana, what's not to like?

  • Cryptic Command - Perfect card for this deck. Counter, tapping, bouncing, drawing what's not to like about it?

  • Feeling of Dread - Another good tap card, now with flashback.

  • Niveous Wisps - Good tap/draw card for only 1 mana.

  • Mana Leak - Adding some control beside tapping, is really great against decks that's not running as many creatures.

  • Path to Exile - Another good control card. Some creatures are just not enough to tap, they must be completely gone.

  • Repel the Darkness - Another tap card, that also give you a free card.

--Lands--

It's not the fastest deck (able to win in turn 6-8), but pretty good against any creature based deck, and also doing good against control decks.

Would appreciate feedback and could use some suggestions for my sideboard

+1 if you like it.
