Fellow MTG Enthusiasts!

Just got into MTG a few weeks ago and decided to start off with a blue control deck of sorts which incorporates the implementation of human artificers & artifacts with stalling support (i.e. diminishing target creatures, and instants which negate opponent spells, using wall creatures).

The artifacts that I went with have solid synergy with the human artificers; however, I am having an issue incorporating an appropriate 'stall' method. Albeit following the rules for a good deck curve, it seems like I am not having the greatest luck with being able to play a spell on most turns consistently.

Any feedback regarding how I can better go about redesigning my 'stall' or deck balance, in general, would be greatly appreciated.
