I was feeling a little frisky so I decided to throw together a "cat" deck in the spirit of the Regal Caracal becoming the Deranged Hermit for kitties. I had a really close bond with my actual real-life cat, and when I was 23, I actually got pinned to the concrete by a mean police man while holding him in my arms (we both went down for the count). Naturally, I had to build a Magic deck to commemorate his precious little life. I figure that getting the smaller cats out in the early going will be beneficial, and Sacred Cat should be more than capable to achieve this effort. Soon after, I'll cast King of the Pride hopefully and pump up my Sacred Cat and other felines that enter the battlefield thereafter. Seht's Tiger will enter the fray at a time when I not only could use something larger but also avoid some kind of damage or spell on my person. Needless to say the Regal Caracal will come along at around the same time and if and when somebody decides to harm him I get to cast Eerie Interlude to avoid getting him targeted and also bring him back at the end of the turn with two more tokens. Everybody likes to gain a little life so Chaplain's Blessing sure comes in handy as well as a couple of ways to "exile" things by playing Angelic Purge or Settle Beyond Reality which also benefits Regal Caracal by bringing him back with more tokens. Lastly, I just love being able to "detain" permanents, so Banishing Light and Oblivion Ring become the whiskers on the cat's faces.

It's befitting that many of the cats in my deck appear to be Egyptian because my actual real-life cat was an Abyssinian!
