How to Train Ur Dragon EDH

Commander / EDH

cmart9887

I love dragons, so I had to build around Scion of the Ur-Dragon. This deck is real in form, unlike the Scion, but flavorfully changes with my feelings. I swap out some of the Dragons in the deck depending on how I feel like playing, but generally the core rides strong.

The idea is use Scion as the main weapon, using the "toolbox" of Dragons in the deck to help counter the opponent (ex: switching to Silumgar to gain hexproof). While the opponent is dealing with Scion, the graveyard increasingly becomes a threat and eventually the Dragons are brought back to life via Living Death, Reanimate, etc.

The deck struggles when picked on because it is slow to get setup, but with a head of steam it can take over games.
