How to summon a Daedric Prince

Legacy Budget Casual Theme/Gimmick UBR (Grixis)

lithium142

A friend of mine has played a deck forever, that he calls his "religion" deck.

the purpose is to take control of his opponents creatures and sacrifice them. His endgame strategy being to summon Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker. Thus, his deck was a sacrificial ritual to summon Bolas. It was once a tier 2 standard deck he later upgraded into a casual modern deck. Now I want to make it into legacy with Ashnod's Altar as much more real catalyst to summon him.

the deck is pretty simple to pilot. you want a sac outlet, and then start taking control of opponents creatures. the token generation helps to keep you alive, and young pyromacer synergizes very well into our strategy. Cabal Therapy can work as a sac outlet for opponents' creatures, and also fuels our pyromancers.

I will be giving this list to him at some point, and it's worth noting, he HATES counter magic, and refuses to play it. so although i understand this deck would benefit from Counterspell, it's out of the question.

I love the synergies I've worked into the deck, but this still feels a bit clunky.

That said, i welcome any ideas/suggestions, and I hope you like the deck! =D
