The idea with the deck is to have small instances of damage stack up as the game goes on, making a single threat game-winning if left unanswered.

Having tried it out (although not thoroughly), the deck has been performing somewhat okay, with Thunderbreak Regent and Sin Prodder both overperforming as expected. Cards that are mediocre in the deck are: Panic Spellbomb, Flame Slash, Burst Lightning (in multiples), and to some extent Searing Blood and Flame Javelin.

The sideboard is aimed at "un-fun" decks more than being competitive: Goblin Ruinblaster for Tron, Dragon's Claw+Prism Ring for Burn, Ricochet Trap for counterspells, Sulfur Elemental for Hatebears (thalia, flickerwisp, blade splicer), Lingering Souls and Martyr of Sands etc.
