Inspired by the edh and chill video game themed episode. So I decided to base it off my favorite game. There are many great characters to base cards on. So I opted to go Legends-matter. Down below I'll have sections that will tell you which card corresponds with which character.

Below I will describe events and characters from the Witcher franchise. Please be-wary of spoilers but if you're a big fan like me I'm sure you know most of this already.

Geralt and Friends

This will be a list of the legendary creatures and what Witcher characters they represent. I will elaborate if I feel it is necessary.

• Dandelion / Jaskier: Yisan, the Wanderer Bard
• Renfri: Saffi Eriksdotter
• Dudu: Sakashima of a Thousand Faces
• Roach: Crested Sunmare
• Young Ciri: Child of Alara , a pretty prefect effect for a younger Ciri. She is the child or in the bloodline of Lara Dorren giving her immense power that she often can't control which often manifest in explosive ways when anything happens to her.
• Emhyr var Emereis: Kambal, Consul of Allocation
• King Foltest: Kenrith, the Returned King
• Triss Merigold: Chandra, Torch of Defiance
• Cahir Mawr Dyffryn aep Ceallach: Daxos of Meletis , Like the arc of Daxos Cahir goes through a journey before he dies. Hunting Ciri, failing, being imprisoned, falling in love with Ciri, and eventually dying by Geralt's side in order to save Ciri.
• Angoulême: Samut, Voice of Dissent , This Ciri look-alike and bad-ass tom-boy sadly will be represented as Samut, capturing her aggressive and rebellious nature.
• Fringilla Vigo: Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts , look Folks now she's white and black! No more controversy! But also white and black are the colors of Nilfgaard and it's perfect for Fringilla's connivery. Advisor fits the members of the lodge just as well as wizard does.
• Philippa Eilhart: Derevi, Empyrial Tactician , The gay, scheming Owl Wizard was the perfect fit for Derevi.
• Cerys an Craite: Cosima, God of the Voyage  
• Emiel Regis Rohellec Terzieff-Godefroy: Arvad the Cursed , Regis a vampire who has a different outlook towards humans. He rather co-exist if he can.
• Dijkstra: Kethis, the Hidden Hand , former Redanaian spy-master under King Vizimier.
• Queen Calanthe: Queen Marchesa
• Mousesack / Ermion: Kamahl, Fist of Krosa
• Vesemir: Gaddock Teeg
• Letho of Gullet: Zurgo Helmsmasher
• Witchers in general: Chevill, Bane of Monsters
• General Voorhis: Odric, Lunarch Marshal
• Myrgtabrakke: Dragon Broodmother
• Saesenthessis: Scourge of the Throne , Phillipa used a potion, brewed by Geralt himself, to Control the dragon into attacking at Loch Muine, a meeting where monarchs of the north had gathered. Also interesting tidbit. This is the dragon who hatched from the egg during the Dragon Hunt earlier in the books / The netflix series
• Saskia, Human form of Saesenthessis: Saskia the Unyielding , Same name, same desires. Leading her people in battle against those who would oppress them.
• The White Frost: Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite Listen I know I'm reaching far just to put Elesh norn in this deck, I am doing that for sure. But the White frost is inevitable, it is said that all worlds will eventually be frozen over by it. Just as the Phyrexian's (and Thanos) view themselves as an inevitability. They've already taken over Mirrodin. And it's called the white frost so it's represented by the white Praetor.
• Villentretenmerth: Dragonlord Dromoka
• The Fiend: Jegantha, the Wellspring , the only monster other than dragons in this deck. Based on the massive cat like beast with large gnarly antlers.
• Iorveth: Turntimber Ranger
• Ves: Anafenza, the Foremost
• Vernon Roche: Baird, Steward of Argive
• Dyrads of Brokilon: Trostani Discordant , Sylvan Caryatid , and Dryad of the Ilysian Grove
• Scoia'tael Warrior: Oakhame Adversary
• Zoltan Chivay: Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder
• Yennefer of Vengerburg: Sen Triplets , Controlling to her core. She's learned it from those around her. She knows how to seem cold on the outside. Between her personality and frequent use of mind reading on Geralt it is clear that Sen Triplets fits her as a card because just like Sen triplets, a lot of people hate Yennefer and some love her. Plus have to add black and white because that's all she wears and she's blue for sure.
• Geralt of Rivia: Finally Geralt, the white wolf is reskinned into a friend of them Tolsimir, Friend to Wolves . It also gains life in order to work with Roach( Crested Sunmare ) so extra points in my book.

Events and noncreatures

Here I will list events and other non-creatures that are still thematic and won't be in the filler section.

Fate / Destiny: - Crux of Fate , this reminds me of Vesemir's death scene. His fate had finished, reached it's crux and it was followed by the destructive power of ciri being unleshed. - Day of Destiny , the Witcher series as a whole focuses on the concept of destiny, you can't out run destiny Geralt is always told. This also fits perfectly with all the legends we have jammed in here The curse Package: Curses are commonplace in the witcher universe. It's common for Witcher's to lift curses as a part of their job so it only makes sense that we include some of the good ones.

• Curse of Misfortunes , take out all your anger on one player and stack up the negative affects on them, also this works great with the expesinve, but crippling curses from Amonkhet block.
• Curse of Exhaustion
• Cruel Reality
• Curse of Opulence
• Curse of Fool's Wisdom
• Curse of Death's Hold
• Overwhelming Splendor

Killing Monsters: - Anguished Unmaking : Geralt doens't kill monsters that aren't hurting anyone. It's in his code. Though there have been times that common folk will disturb monsters that will in turn defend themselves. Situations where Geralt has had to kill against his own wishes. - Utter End - Heartless Act , Ikoria has actually done a good job at following common themes of The Witcher series. Humans killing innocent monsters and showing that indeed humans can be monsters too. My favorite quote from Geralt is "They're both for monsters." Referencing his swords, showing that Geralt know humans can be worse than any drowner or strigga on the inside, also showing that Geralt only kills people when he's forced to or he believes that they are truly evil. - Vindicate - Terminate

Events:

- Austere Command / Merciless Eviction / Cleansing Nova : Radovid and the church of the eternal fire beginning witch hunts where large parts of Novigrad were hunted like animals to be burned at the stake, similar to the order of the flaming rose in Vizima. - Ruinous Ultimatum : The battle of sodden that ended in misery and death for most involved. Leaving the survivor's scarred.

• Elvish Mystic , represents the elven sages that still exist, steeping themselves deep in tradition regardless of human oppression
• Coalition Relic represents the witcher's famous amulets.
• Conspiracy is here for a cute small combo between Geralt and Roach, but also goes infinte with Iorveth, it's more expensive and not as good as arcane adaptation, but conspiracy is more fitting.Obviously in witch 2 several kings are killed, Phillipa has her own conspiracies. Also in Witcher 3 Geralt can get involved in a plot to kill Radovid, definitely a conspiracy.
