Sideboard

This is Sultai Vannifar Toolbox. I recently bought the Simic cosmetics bundle on arena and wanted a deck to show off all the bling. Though it isn't very competitive, I have found this to be the most compelling Vannifar list in Standard. It's missing out on Rekindling Phoenix interactions, but I have found those to be almost always a turn too late. Instead this deck looks to tutor out the 4-drop, usually it will be Hostage Taker . Why Hostage Taker ? It works best when you have mana to cast the exiled card right away. Therefore, by tutoring it out for free, you can steal your opponent's best creature and cast it that turn. The best opening for this deck is a llanowar elf T1, a Midnight Reaper or Sailor of Means T2, and Prime Speaker Vannifar T3, then activate the combo on T4. The nice thing about the combo is that once you steal a creature, Hostage Taker becomes pretty useless, so pitching it for a Biogenic Ooze or a Doom Whisperer feels great the turn after. Advice is very appreciated.
