Sideboard

The original form of this ran a lot of tokens, since origins there is so much token hate the deck began to get out-shined simply by just using tokens despite nobody directly attemping to counter it at my venue. even though it has had epic success there (had never placed below 3rd till the last time i used it there).

so i slowed down the pace a touch and added bodies that can be used to pumble. turn 3 is typically a big turn, as your going to either be playing any number of 4 drops if you hit Sylvan Caryatid/Atarka's Command or one of the 3 drops, turn 4 is typically Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury or Whisperwood Elemental, which both begin to apply lots of pressure depending on the circumstance. turn 5 is usually whip turn to give them another thing to sweat about. 6 is either a whip activation + a 3 drop or Dragonlord Atarka. the threats just continue to rain persistently and each one of them have to be answered to or they will pay off fast. Shaman of the Great Hunt is a more powerful tool than most realize.

lost to sultai this week, all i needed in both games 2 and 3 was my Kolaghan's Command to get rid of Whip of Erebos to close out the game but couldnt get one at all. so he was able to peck me down while keeping his life above burn range.
