Elder Deep-Fried Pre-Re(lease)mix —July 18, 2016
Elder Deep-Fiend will be on board next week, making some changes in preparation. Elder replaced Blight Herder. Since Nettle Drone and Molten Nursery are no longer involved (and haven't been for awhile), I realized that Touch of the Void and Spell Shrivel had some usually cheaper alternatives (until I have herald(s) out) in Incendiary Flow and Turn Aside respectively. For now going 2 and 2 of each. Added Anticipate and removed Prophet of Distortion. Brought back in Blinding Drone.
yes it will. even when u emerge it will reduce its cost with 4 mana. 3 from the mana cost off herald and 1 off the ability off the herald. So you will be apying 1UU voor elder deep fiend.

I think this deck might find a home for an Elder Deep-Fiend. Sac a Blight Herder, pay two blue, tap down permanents and swing. I wonder if the Heralds reduce the emerge cost of it since it is a colorless spell right? Anyone know the ruling on that?
