First Match- Mono Black Reanimator (Legacy) — Oct. 2, 2013

Some of you may not know, but I test my decks before sleeving them. It's a rite of passage, of sorts, to see if my ideas are up to par.

The deck earned its' sleeves in the first round of the first game.

Mono Black Reanimator is possibly one of the worst match ups the deck could run into. A real test.

Round 1 saw victory because of the ability to scry with my owls to find Vapor Snags and Path to Exiles to keep the board free of the consistent threats from my opponent's graveyard.

Round 2 was a long and drawn out loss for Owls, as no removal could be found and I was running out of chump blockers.

Round 3 was won by owls after a few turns of consistent removal of my creatures. Eventually, owls got their aggro on and won the day 2/3.
