HKQ (Humans Kill Quickly) being edited
This deck was in standard but now im revising it for modern when i get a chance so it will look weird for a little while
This deck is very fast and is hard to deal with late game. It has two win conditions: Pure beat down with loads of Humans creatures with very good interacting abilities. The other win condition is Angelic Overseer which becomes a 5/3 indestructible hexproof flyer when humans are in play under your control which is very easy as everything is a human in this deck and hard to kill.
Oblivion Ring and Fiend Hunter remove any annoying creatures and or any other artifacts/enchantments etc to give you enough removal stop their win condition and win by beat down regardless of weather its the opponent has a standard deck or not.
Grand Abolisher stops counter spells and slows control/burn decks etc. If an opponents deck is completely Burn/Control/Counter etc I can sideboard in 2. Elite Inquisitor protects you from Vampires, Werewolves and Zombie decks which are the most common standard legal decks atm and again I can sideboard 2 in if necessary to give me 4 in total.
If they have a very fast turn 1 or 2 unblockable creature out like Invisible Stalker /Latch Seeker , I can take the 1 damage for a few turns and exile any enchantments or equipment they attach giving me time to beat them by turn 5/6 with all the removal and destruction this deck has.
In a delver deck that can get a 3/2 flyer on turn 2, instead of having blockers, I can tap delver with Gideon's Lawkeeper before they attack for the first couple of turns and then exile it after that, meaning the point of their deck won't work. This will give me time to get to turn 3 or 4 when I can then do whatever I want.
If they use Kessig Wolf Run , Vault of the Archangel , Slayers' Stronghold or any other very good land, I can use goast quarter to destroy it. And due to Cavern of Souls any opponent won't be able to counter 70% of the deck most of the time due to there being 4 in the deck.
Lastly, If their deck is creature heavy and seems to get a lot of creatures out in the first game, I can Wrath of God . Get Angelic Overseer out, board wipe, then hit them for 5 flying till they die. Or if they board wipe all of my Humans, I still have Angelic Overseer , so ether way, a board wipe is in my favor. And in a creature heavy deck like a goblin deck which will get loads of creatures that are 5/1 's I can sideboard in Holy Day to prevent the damage for a few turns until they tun out of steam giving me time to get to turn 4/5 where I can again do what I want.
Also if they have a graveyard deck like graveborn or a zombie deck or repeatedly flash back cards for a deck like laboratory manic, I can side board in Grafdigger's Cage
which will shut down those decks.
I've already had quiet a few comments on how to improve this deck and I've listened to most of them. Despite that, I'm still open for suggestions on how to improve this deck and appreciate +1's and comments.
