Cathedral Sanctifier? —Aug. 14, 2012

So far this deck works like a charm. However, the one thing that I am still unsure about is wether or not I want to keep Cathedral Sanctifier in the deck or not. I have been entertaining the thought of adding 4x Vexing Devil in its place (or alternatly in Champion of the Parish's place since its ability doesn't synergize well with Vexing Devil).

Adding a two-drop like Inquisitor Exarch or War Priest of Thune could also work, but it really throws of my build not having enough mana for Traveler's Amulet on turn two or three.

Please tell me what you think.

All those creature steals... Wouldn't it be nice if you could keep them (Bazaar Trader )? Is there a similar card that would do this in red or white for current Standard?

Wait... does Cloudshift give you the creature indefinitely? It's a shame the +1/+1 counter goes away.

If you Cloudshift a creature you have stolen with Zealous Conscripts or Mark of Mutiny it becomes yours indefinitely because it resolves on top of the previous condition: gain control until end of turn. I can use the card:Conjurer's Closet for this also. This is why it is Creature Steal not Creature Borrow.

So I do keep them and this is standard. :/

Loosing one measly +1/+1 counter doesn't really matter when you can turn the tables on your opponent and take his best creature from him. His 6/6 Wurmcoil Engine suddenly becomes my 6/6 Wurmcoil Engine before he has a chance to use it.

Alternatively I could fling it and in this case: gain the token creatures. ;3

Very interesting deck. I had thought of something similar but this takes it to a higher level. Great job!
