How this deck came to be

A love at 1st sight, soon forgotten, only to be remembered many years later. I don't know why it took me so long, but here I am building a silly, Rakdos, Lord of Riots demon-themed(?) deck. The idea is simple, simple is good, deal damage and cast fatties. Fortunately, most demons are already undercosted. Unfortunately, most don't play nice with each other, nor with your board. As with any commander with such clearly defined ability, I'm sure this deck will bear some similarities to others but so what? It's fun.

I am very open to suggestions, especially if they aren't just foodstuffs (or goodstuff, for that matter) . I'm certainly no expert in these two colours, so I don't know all the right synergies. If at all possible, I want the deck to be as flavourfully aligned as possible, while still being able to win reasonably well. For now, the land base is what it is, most lands that would go well in this deck are a little too $$$ for me. I get that improving the land base would help but for the time being, This is what I have.

As is fairly obvious, I suppose, I want to be dealing damage during my turn as consistently as possible. This means that cards that have evasion of some kind, be it fear or intimidate, or flying, etc. are important. Cards like Plague Spitter and Honden of Infinite Rage are also good because they deal straight damage with no further investment. There are a couple cards ( Heartless Hidetsugu and Master of the Feast for example) that work very nicely with the build of the deck. While Heartless Hidetsugu may not usually be cast the same turn as Rakdos, Lord of Riots , the fact that it halves everyone's health is excellent for pressuring others. Of course there are a cards like Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and Blightsteel Colossus which benefit immensely from Rakdos's cost reduction.

I don't really have much removal, or damage prevention, so I don't want to run global damage doubling effects because I could easily end up taking the worse of it.

Your most consistent win-con in this deck, that is to say the one that effectively guarantees victory, is Lich + Repay in Kind . You can achieve this fairly easily with Razaketh, the Foulblooded and at least 2 other creatures provided you've dealt 12 or more damage this turn, and have : Sacrifice the first creature to get Kozilek, Butcher of Truth , and loop him until you draw one of It That Betrays , Burnt Offering , Lich or Repay in Kind , from there use Kozilek to grab another piece, cast It That Betrays , sacrifice Rakdos, Lord of Riots and another creature to get the rest of the pieces if needed, use Burnt Offering on It That Betrays for 12 and cast Lich followed by Repay in Kind . You can also use Doomsday or Insidious Dreams to assemble your pieces.

Updates Add

As my meta has become more competitive over time, I've been slowly tinkering the deck more and more to be as explosive as possible without losing the essential flavour. A lot of the slower, or less immediately impactful things have been removed since the last update, as well as the more unlikely setups.

In it's current form, the deck usually aims to win via a combo scenario, often enabled by Hellcarver Demon. However, generally speaking, it should have no difficulty winning without the Hellcarver Demon, as it is very capable of winning via combat damage, commander damage, or simply achieving the combos through different means.
