This deck is part of a US$10.00 budget format. This budget encompasses the mainboard and the sideboard (everything but traditional basic lands), so it makes for a very interesting deckbuilding challenge.

What we have here is a Heroic Voltron list, nearly identical to the Theros-Khans block Standard list.The game plan is to get out a cheap creature, and abuse heroic triggers, or enchantment stacks. It makes for quick kills, but is fairly easy to gimp, using well placed, well timed removal. The defense against that is Gods Willing and Stave Off . The inclusion of Stave Off is due to it being slightly less expensive monetarily, and it having the added benefit of slowing down infect.

The budget is pretty much used up by Hero of Iroas and Ethereal Armor, together costing almost half of the deck. Totally worth it.
