Heroic/Prowess cards: The main damage dealers, Seeker of the Way and Lagonna Trailblazer. Casting spells on Lagonna triggers Seeker's prowess.

Flickering Ward: In a way, this is the workhorse of the deck. By being able to put it in your hand for 1 mana, you can re-cast it for 2 mana, triggering heroic abilities in one creature and prowess in the seekers.Plus, if a creature is somehow killed you can get it back just for one mana.

Instant cards with draw as side effect: Gallantry, Shelter, Defiant Strike allow you to draw cards so that your hand doesn't empty so quickly.

Protection from colors: There's so much protection in this deck, for effective hexproofing (you have very few creatures), and also for getting unblockable creatures. Also you can use it for Aura removal (Flickering Ward/Shelter).

Wall of Glare + Protection (+ Gryff's Boon if necessary): You can effectively block all attacking damage except for trampling creatures by turn 3. Even so Wall of Glare's 5 defence can block a lot of damage. Coupled with Gallantry this can also be an important source of damage.
