Poor Liliana. She can't help that everyone around her keeps dying... and she does her best to bring them back. Turbofog your way to grindy victory.

The deck's main goal is to stall the game and slow down your opponents until you can successfully ult Liliana, Heretical Healer  . Normally, this could be somewhat challenging because she doesn't protect herself that well, but if you prevent combat damage every turn, she stands a much better chance of survival, only dying to direct damage or permanent removal.

The ideal way to make this happen is to land Liliana on turn 3 and then a Sorin, Vengeful Bloodlord on turn 4 -- while he does the hard work of reanimating foggers, Lily can shred hands and work towards her -8. If all goes according to plan, you'll ult her on turn 6, at which point her emblem does all the reanimating for you. From there, a Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat will ping down your opponents and win you the game.

MH2 brought a huge addition to the plan: abiding grace. It Reanimator a foggers for free every turn but can’t be attacked or bolted like Lily or Sorin! Still need to dodge prismatic ending (and with KND, March of Otherworldly light), but Grace makes the deck much more consistent. Lily’s ultimate is still the win condition since it hits all creatures, allowing us to loop Captains, foggers, and steal opp’s creatures.

In a pinch, Lily herself can reanimate foggers the same way Sorin does, but her ult almost guarantees victory, so prioritize casting fresh foggers or Sorin over reanimating with Lily.

Liliana, Heretical Healer   -- Flips easily because of all the great self-sacrificial utility in the deck, especially Spore Frog and Kami of False Hope. Reanimate foggers to stall the game.

Sorin, Vengeful Bloodlord -- Liliana's friend, helps with the turbofogging, also helps stabilize with lifelink. If you have both Sorin and Lily out (which is the dream), reanimate with Sorin so you can work towards ulting Lily.

Abiding Grace —- Our MH2 upgrade that reanimates foggers for free.

Spore Frog and Kami of False Hope -- the foggers.

Ranger-Captain of Eos -- Tutors your foggers, is also a "fogger" himself vs noncreature decks. Prioritize fetching new foggers over reanimating old ones so that you can +2 your walkers (buys 3 turns instead of just 1).

Blood Artist -- ping, ping, ping. The win con of the deck! Stuff tends to die in this deck and these guys capitalize on that.

Fume Spitter —- Great at the base rate to deal with Monke and DRC pre delirium (or whatever other x/1 you come across), but can whittle down even the mightiest eldrazi titan with a few Reanimate effects.
