Creature (1)

This is a deck intended to compete with high-level decks while keeping the price point down. This is a very consistent deck that you're bound to make a few people mad; either by making the game last a very long time or absolutely wiping the enemy's board with your army. This deck is one of my favorite I have made and it has led me to multiple wins at FMN.

Please, I do not care if you like this deck or not, I would like to hear your opinions on what I could change or just if you like certain aspects of the deck.

Recent Updates I have started playing this deck again recently and realized that there was a constant mana problem. My first thought was to reduce the amount of lands; but rather, I opted to remove Ballyrush Banneret and substituted it for Precinct Captain . I want to focus more on boosting Champion of the Parish with more human drops. Also, in the future I want to add back Elspeth, Knight-Errant and Ajani Goldmane , but I first need to determine the proper amount needed and what will have to go in its stead.

MAIN BOARD

Creatures

  • Brimaz, King of Oreskos : Great aggro card that continuously pumps out more tokens to swarm the board.
  • Captain of the Watch : You do not necessarily want to bring this card out naturally. The best way to utilize this card is to use Preeminent Captain to pull it from your hand for free.
  • Champion of the Parish : The one drop that keeps on giving. Almost all the creatures in this deck are humans and triggers just continue to happen. This creature has the potential of becoming one of the largest creatures on the battlefield.
  • Crusader of Odric : Another great Human card that is able to use the size of your army to make it as large as possible.
  • Field Marshal : Giving First Strike to all the creatures makes it easier to keep your creatures alive.
  • Precinct Captain : One of the only two drops that is able to start growing the army.
  • Preeminent Captain : Easy way to start chumping out creatures that cost more than you are able to spend.
  • Thalia's Lieutenant : The card is perfect for early game and late game. You can either use early and use it a Champion of Parish substitute or late to boost all your other creatures.

Instants and Sorceries

  • Brave the Elements : Perfect way to protect all your creatures or make it so opponent's creatures are unable to block your army.
  • Path to Exile : I do not think I have to explain.

Side Board

Creatures

  • Odric, Master Tactician : Ran the card in the past. It was not the best and only worked against certain decks. I moved it to the side board and limited the amount. It has worked better since.
  • Thalia's Lieutenant : Great card that I wish I could run four of in the main board, so I put it the side board.

Instants and Sorceries

  • Holy Day : I have used this card in the past against Infect, Bloom Titan(When it was heavily in play), Splinter Twin(When it was also not banned), or if opponents planned to swing for the win. This gives you one more turn to try to win.
  • Launch the Fleet : This card can be used to compete with other aggressive decks to generate cump blocks to deal with attackers.
  • Rebuff the Wicked : One cost counter spell. Yes please.
