FNM 11.16.12 -- Placed 3rd!! —Nov. 17, 2012
Played at my local fnm last night and placed 3rd out of 17.
Before the FNM I made the following changes:
-3 Titanic Growth -2 Blessings of Nature +4 Ranger's Guile +1 Revenge of the Hunted
I added the Ranger's Guile for protection from the heavy removal/burn spells in my meta. The deck did very well and I was pleased with the results. The only game I lost was to a Jund deck but I had to mull to 4 the first game and I kept one mana lands both games (super bad idea, btw). Other than that I feel good about this deck's potential.
Turn 3: Wild Beastmaster
Turn 4: Strangleroot Geist and then Giant Growth the beastmaster, swing for 10 plus any other creatures that I might have in play (usually an Arbor Elf or Elvish Visionary )

If Mayor of Avabruck Flip flips, he would affect Champion of Lambholt by adding another +1/+1 counter. I also use Scorned Villager Flip s in this deck though.

Those are good suggestions and i've thought about having those cards in this deck but after playing with these cards I have found that Elvish Visionary 's card draw helps tremendously and Arbor Elf on turn one is a huge advantage for me.

So what is the point of Wild Beastmaster besides just having a target for your Giant Growth and Titanic Growth spells? lol
