I ask you for some good suggestions and advice for building a deck around the combo idea i had.
Things that I need:
Manabase 1 or 2 Cards, especially in green or artifacts, which are ideally in addition:
Enabler for the revolt-effect of the Herbalists: I would have taken Greenbelt Rampager but he cant be bounced if I already have energy through the Servants. But Herbalists trigger even with sacrificable Permanents, so in general I search a very cheap way to get a unnecessary permanent away from my field and maybe even an advantage from this effect.
(Optional) Cheap Bounce/Flick for Herbalists
(Optional) Things that I can put in the Deck instead of the Ballista
In general: I would be very thankful for enlighten me, as I am an absolute beginner at standard deck build. I would be very happy if i could get this interesting combo to work out. Please feel free to solve the problems that I cannot solve or even mention the ones I wasnt even able to recognize.
Idea of the combo
The concept is the utilisation of the Hidden Herbalists with Panharmonicon and the Winning Condition being then the Walking Ballista (Which is already not ideal, I think). It is still a very fragile deck concept, with much improvements needed. Im also currently stongly thinking about an alternative winning condition with Aetherflux Reservoir, Paradoxical Outcome and some Ornithopter.The Rest of the Cards: Servant of the Conduit enables me to play Panharmonicon turn 3 and the blue Paradoxical Outcome.
The vague sequence of the Combo:
Turn 1: eventually Attune with Aether or Oath of Nissa (+ Ornithopter)
Turn 2: Servant of the Conduit
Turn 3: Panharmonicon
Turn 4: (Lifecrafter's Bestiary)/ Herbalist Enabler->Hidden Herbalists-> 6 Green Mana and 1 any mana (From Servant of the Conduit )->Paradoxical Outcome-> Bounce Herbalists and everything except Servant of the Conduit-> 2-3 Mana Left->Herbalists again, maybe i drew another one
Turn 4 or 5: After many Bestiaries and Paradoxical Outcome i finish with ballista
Problems:
Iam totally not good at estimating how i have to arrange my land-manabase- So please tell me if i need Attune with Aether and stuff.
As the most will recognize this now, the combo between Herbalists and Ballista is kind of unfirm and weak. I think the Panharmonicon-card:Hidden Herbalist-Paradoxical Outcome/Lifecrafter's Bestiary-with the Ornithopter-Part has a decent potential for drawing many cards turn 4 or 5. But there isnt enough mana yet to create the strong winning Ballista i want at Turn 4 or 5, especially if the herbalists are already played.
I think splashing suggestions are just possible after the Servants then in turn 3 with 3 or 4 mana, which is a highly problematic area with the most of the keycards being in this manacost category.
