This is a solid Mono-Black Midrange style deck made to beat common meta decks like Splinter Twin and Siege Rhino Midrange. The deck can be explosive and curve out with sweet tempo plays our hang back until a single back breaking Phyrexian Obliterator is played. The bonuses to running just mono-black are that is usually cheaper and the mana base is easier to work with. This allows us to play Bojuka Bog main board
Card Explanations-
Phyrexian Obliterator is the true power house in the deck. I know it dies to Path to Exile and Dismember, but unanswered it is a house.
Bloodghast is a source of devotion and a recurring beater for temp plays.
Geralf's Messenger can die to removal and do even extra damage after. Can be sided out against aggressive decks.
Gray Merchant of Asphodel is a source of a lot of damage and can change games in an instant. Pair amazing with Whip of Erebos and allows us to run Phyrexian symbols and pay life for them.
Lashwrithe is amazing on Phyrexian Obliterator which can be equipped on turn five for a 10/10 Phyrexian Obliterator.
Whip of Erebos has life gain and recursion all in one. Works wonders with Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Phyrexian Obliterator.
Dismember, Murderous Cut, and Victim of Night all kill stuff... Yah!!!
Slaughter Pact is there to kill unprepared victims.

Bile Blight is for B/W tokens, Burn, Zoo, Delver, Little Junk, Affinity, and even to kill lots of Pestermite's from Twin.
Deathmark is for Abzan/Junk and G/W Midrange.
Drown in Sorrow is for Affinity, Zoo, and Burn.
Duress is for Control, Combo, and Burn.
Phyrexian Crusader is for Control and Burn.
Stillmoon Cavalier is for Black and White decks, mainly B/W tokens, Abzan, and Control.
