A Delver of Secrets
/Prowess Deck.
We Ideally want to have our game go like this:
Turn 1:
- play an Island
- cast Delver of Secrets
Turn 2:
- flip Delver of Secrets
- draw
- play a Mountain or Sulfur Falls
- cast Curious Homunculus
- attack with Insectile Aberration
- pass
Turn 3:
- draw
- play a land
- attack with Insectile Aberration
- pass
After this point, we basically want to get our Insectile Aberration swings, keep their field clear-ish, and if necessary flip Curious Homunculus and get some Spellheart Chimera action going.
My reasoning on the sideboard is as follows:
- The four copies of Stormchaser Mage switch in in place of the 4 copies of Curious Homunculus if we need need more evasion.
- The four Galvanic Bombardments go in in place of the four Mana Leaks when we are dealing with Infect and Mono-red aggro... The three copies of Mizzium Mortars go in as well in place of the three copies of Schismotivate.
- And against Control, we switch in two Negates for two of the Schismotivates, with the last Schismotivate and one Unsubstantiate coming out for two more copies of Burn from Within
