This deck is my take on the combo between Myr Retriever and Heartless Summoning. I am currently building this deck. For those uninitiated, the idea is to cast Heartless Summoning, then bounce Myr Retriever for free as many times as you like in order to cast a powerful Grapeshot or Bitter Ordeal. Neither of the latter can be countered effectively because they spawn so many copies of themselves.

Infernal Tutor serves the obvious purpose of duplicating an existing Myr Retriever in your hand. Faithless Looting is for sifting through your deck, and it helps you achieve Hellbent (by discarding useless duplicates or extra lands) to use Infernal Tutor as a general tutor. Shred Memory is an excellent tutor for Myr Retriever, Grapeshot , and Heartless Summoning and it doubles as a counter to Second Sunrise decks. Manamorphose and Simian Spirit Guide are for speeding up the combo. Also, I'm planning to add green to this deck to give it Fecundity and a few other spells, but haven't gotten around to it, so Manamorphose will be more useful.

The sideboard comprises answers to beatdown decks ( Deathmark , Terminate), combo decks (Inquisition of Kozilek), and Blue control ( Guttural Response ).
