Combo deck based around Heartless Summoning. The main combo involves two Myr Retriever looping for free with either Purphoros, God of the Forge in play, or following up with a Grapeshot.

Myr Sire and Perilous Myr deal 4 damage with the combo out, and Mogg War Marshal is a double lightning bolt for R. Kher Keep is to prevent running out of gas. Even without Heartless on the field, the creatures are cheap enough to be cast.

Magma Jet functions as removal and to help find combo pieces. Faithless Looting are for digging for the combo. Dimir House Guard tutors for Purphorous.

Don't forget that Gods are creatures and get their mana cost reduced by Heartless Summoning.

Looking for suggestions on improving the deck! This was built with what I had.

I haven't posted much here lately, but I've made some major changes to the deck.

First, I removed Mogis from the sideboard. Even against creature light decks like control, he just doesn't do enough. I replaced him with a combust to help fight against Twin and Delver.

I also removed Night's Whisper from the deck. In most matchups it is the first thing I side out. Drawing two was great, but I found the utility of Gitaxian Probe to be more useful in comboing off against control decks.

Crypt Champion is a new addition to the team. With the combo out, he can restart the Retriever loop from the graveyard, or just bring back a creature for additional damage. Without the combo, he can bring out any Myr Superions I've discarded to add a ton of power to the board.
