Maybeboard

Artifact (2)

Sorcery (1)

In a card shop in Rome I stumbled across a Hazezon Tamar, so I figured I'd build a deck around him. The purpose of this build is to have a deck that's not particularly competitive (I've been told I'm bad at this), but can still be a threat if left unattended. It revolves around casting Hazezon and sacrificing him or otherwise seeing him dead before my next upkeep so that my sand warriors stick around to perform their shenanigans. The current version of the deck relies on the sand warriors to do lethal, but there are a couple other token generators and a couple of board wipes in there to keep the pressure off until the deck can explode. There is also a single infinite with Goblin Sharpshooter + Tooth and Claw and any token doubler, but it's only something I see using if the game has completely stalled out. The deck is currently an early version, so I hope to make some improvements. However, it already plays like archenemy when Hazezon begins hitting the board, so I'd like to avoid things like Impact Tremors or Purphoros, God of the Forge that put people on a fast clock. Currently, Sun Titan, Vigor, and possibly Assemble the Legion are on the chopping block for being too slow or sitting in my hand while I had better things to do. Also, Emeria Shepherd has taken to doing Sun Titan's job in a deck so heavily revolved around lands. I'm currently thinking of adding a High Market for another sac outlet in addition to a Beastmaster Ascension to make the tokens more threatening, but the balance is already kind of heavy towards enchantments. If anyone wants to offer tips, I've noticed the deck is in dire need of some recoverable way to deal with artifacts and enchantments, and perhaps some way to protect my many useful enchantments, who quickly become priority targets once people realize what's happening. Preemptive thanks for any advice! Also, does any know of custom Sand Warrior token I could get my hands on?

Edit: Since I picked up a token doubler at the prerelease last weekend, I decided to give my buddy Hazezon a bit of an upgrade. I took out some of the creatures and enchantments that weren't pulling their weight, as well as the clunky Goblin Sharpshooter combo. In their place I invited some new friends! Craterhoof Behemoth, Decimator of the Provinces, Pathbreaker Ibex, and Beastmaster Ascension all make my tokens incredibly lethal if left unchecked. Helping generate new tokens are Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury and Descent of the Dragons, both of whom have additional uses. Anointed Procession gives me another token doubler while Sterling Grove protects my enchantments or grabs ones I need. I also fittled with the lands within my ability. So, whatdaya think?
