Yeah I was playing my Teferi deck a lot and it's great. I put up all my decks' win stats on my profile page if you're interested. I've been playing some of the less-used ones lately and my new mono-blue deck, Mistform Ultimus.

Wow, I can see that being a lot of fun. To bad he's not more colors! Where do you usually play EDH?

I play at a bunch of stores in the Dayton, OH area. There's like 5+ stores around here where people play EDH.

Sand wurms have been confirmed to be in Amonkhet! Flavor hype!

Since Amonket is a desertic plane "owned" by a certain malevolent being, once it's out we'll HAVE to create a Nicol Harkonnen deck!

Cycling duals are definitely finding their way into this deck though...

Come on sand worms!

+1 from another fan of Frank Herbert's legacy.

You should add Sandwurm Convergence to this :)

Just put the set name, (AKH) beside it and it should be visible.

Thanks Dr. Magic!

And yes, Delta. Sandwurm Convergence is 100% going into this deck. The 7/7 wurm is just a little too crappy to make the cut, but the Enchantment has a little bit of control and a whole lot of flavor to it. New favorite Turn 3 Academy Rector target!

After two months of play-testing, I'd feel remiss to not shout out elpokitolama and your suggestion of Magus of the Tabernacle. He went in for the flavor and he has been doing WORK as a tempo-changer and sac outlet. Never would have guessed it would have synergised so well.

Big ups to EternalBrewmaster as well. In light of Greater Sandwurm's abject shittiness, Ulvenwald Hydra continues to channel Shai Halud in the most gloriously synergistic ways. Nothing like casting him with Panharmonicon and Tireless Tracker on the 'field!

The Magus is probably my favorite white creature... Even though i can only run him in my WR LD deck, where he acts as a continuous boardwipe. Well, it's not as if the Tabernacle he got his name from was straight up one of the most powerful cards ever printed! :p

By the way, every card from both magus cycle would fit here flavorfuly speaking. And probably in terms of power. c:

For now, let's just pray that Hour of Devastation brings us real wurms...

Looking for that legendary wurm with a name close to shai hulud out of HoD. Fingers crossed.

Four Amonkhet cards have made the cut. Sheltered Thicket and Scattered Groves for more fixing, flexibility and Crucible of Worlds synergy (and to make this deck even more bitterly vulnerable to Blood Moon/Back to Basics). Sandwurm Convergence because duh (yeah, I know it's not that good, but it's replacing Blind Obedience, which was pretty low impact in this deck). Also, Samut, Voice of Dissent came late onto my radar and goddamn what a house! The untap ability doesn't have a lot of synergy aside from combat tricks, but she's another haste enabler, a big butt, and a great analog for Siona Atreides, everyone's favorite voice of dissent!

How could I even outlook the ressemblance between Samt and Siona... I've been far too fixed on the first three books while making suggestions here. x)

And while we're talking about voices, the Baron's Tormenting Voice can fit in there too, don't you think?

I'm surprised you aren't running anything that can capitalize on triggers from your tokens leaving the battlefield. I'd use an Outpost Siege and perhaps consider Fresh Meat?

VietMoneys says... #22

Myr_Mythic, ideally they never do! The idea behind this deck is to sacrifice Hazezon before the delayed trigger can resolve, meaning my Sand Warriors are on the board to stay! That said, with another board wipe or two, Fresh Meat could be very nasty!

VietMoneys I'm almost ready (after a little cleanup of my magic area) to start building my four color non- Dune deck. I think I'm going to make another mono deck too with Blind Seer as Paul Atreides post-blinding. But the non-blue versioni is going to have every desert possible and all of the flavor cards like Desert Twister and Razia's Purification along with all the wurms possible.

Yeeeeesssss, can't wait to see it EternalBrewmaster! Take a look at the list here and see if there's anything I can send you!

Thanks VietMoneys, I think I have almost everything I need rn except for the deserts coming out in the new set. I'm also planning on getting a lot of the cards for this deck altered over the next year to update their art and names to match Dune better. Have you considered the interaction between Endless Sands and Hazezon?
