Well, then. This deck got crazier and crazier, the more thought I put into it.

The idea is that every single creature can potentially come down with haste, and start swinging as soon as it hits the battlefield. For the sake of consistency, the deck has multiple ways of doing just that:

  1. Dragon Tempest gives all our fliers haste

  2. Forerunner of Slaughter can give our colorless creatures haste as they enter

  3. Olivia, Mobilized for War can give any creature haste as it entwrs, along with a +1/+1 counter (we usually have enough redundant cards to do this without a problem)

  4. Olivia's Bloodsworn can give our two legendary Vampires haste when they enter, if we don't have a Tempest in hand by then

  5. Dust Stalker . All haste, all the time

There is zero interaction with our opponent mainboard, we simply flood the board and attack them until they can take it no more.

One obvious danger card for us is Languish, so we need ways around it. Our maindeck answer is a Inverter of Truth with our Dragon Tempest being unaffected by a wrath. This will mean a 6/6 flyer that is too big (and hopefully too fast) for a control shell running 4 copies. Add to that the fact that we can just replay our Languished creatures from our newly-formed library, and there should be more than enough firepower to close out the game.

The other big problem card is Declaration in Stone, particularly for the aforementioned Inverter plan. The best we can do is play enough different threats to flood the board, and hold back our Inverters until we are sure we can close out the game before they untap.

Our big answers are in our sideboard. Duress and Transgress the Mind are our protection against those horrible cards that kill or exile our hasty, tasty creatures. And our other cards are just there to take down any bigger creatures that might be on defense against us.

If it tests well, I may put it together and give it a spin at the next Standard event I can get to. Suggestions or comments on the deck's potential would be much appreciated.

Thanks all, may all your life decisions be incredibly hasty!
