I built a fun version of a Hardened Scales-based deck before BNG released, then tweaked it to be meaner for a local tournament on Nov. 21, 2015. Borrowed a handful of pricey cards from friends (thanks kaptin666 and Forkbeard!)

It performed well overall and was super fun to play. My losses were against a Mardu deck (with lots of spot removal + sacrifice) and a super fast mono-red prowess token deck (the same guy+deck that won the local game day Dragons of Tarkir).

It could have used another 3x Hangarback Walker but who has the money?
