Hanna, Helm of RIP

Commander / EDH*

Maybeboard

Trying to optmize the deck while trying to cut the cost, recommendations that can take the cost down to ~250 $ while keeping the idea of a combo/pillow fort deck with stax elements.

Built for a semi casual meta that is getting more competitive

Win Cons

The deck's main win conditions are the Helm of Obedience + Rest in Peace combo

and

the ability to generate an infinite amount of mana with either: Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter and a few mana rocks or Aphetto Alchemist + Illusionist's Bracers and at least one mana rock (alternatively Tidewater Minion can be slotted in the Alchemist's spot). The mana is then spent on a big enough Walking Ballista to ping everyone to Death.

Other paths to victory are:

Mindslaver, probably my favourite card in the entire deck and with infinite mana or at least 13 can be used to steal all the turns and win by using your opponents decks agains them. In the games where I could get off a Mindslaver the result were often devastating and in more than one game the power of this artifact turned a sure loss into victory.

Memory Jar and to an extent Temple Bell can be used to mill everyone else to death if you have more cards in your library than your opponents. For the Temple Bell kill the only thing that is needed is infinite untaps which is acieved by the Alchemist combo but since this usually means infinite mana and infinite recursion the Memory Jar kill wilk usually be more efficient, this combo should only be atempted if everyone else is tapped out and can't interact with the combo

These mill combos are more useful if you have an Laboratory Maniac but i put him on the sidelines for an additonal sac outlet for my stax pieces but I could easily be convinced he has a place in the main.

Stax

The stax package is there mostly for its synergy with Hanna, sacrificing Winter Orb, Static Orb and Stasis on the prior end step, recuring the pieces and replaying them, but also because it is a good way to stall until you can combo off.

I'm thinking of adding Tangle Wire and/or Standstill as additional options.

To sacrifice them we use Claws of Gix or Barrin, Master Wizard the former being the better option.

Other recurable synergies are:

Solitary Confinement that can be sacrificed instead of paying the upkeep cost to keep drawing cards while being immune to damage.

Memory Jar is an extremly powerful draw spell that can be returned by Hanna.

Claws of Trigger Stacking

Claws of Gix can in addition to turn the stax pieces one sided be used to turn a the exile effects of the following permanents permanet by sacrificing them in response to their exile triggers:

Journey to Nowhere, Oblivion Ring and Parallax Wave

The claws can also be used when forming a Paradox Engine loop or as a traditional sac outlet.

As stated in the stax section Barrin can replace the claws most of the time but can't be tutored for or recured by Hanna.

Updates Add

Trying out Tidewater Minion in place of Rimewind Taskmage this leads to me being able to change Snow-Covered Basics for regular lands and making me able to add man lands like Mishra's Factory and Faerie Conclave
