As the emperor of all you work to build up your army to rule all those who would oppose you. You have your trusty Elspeth at your side to raise an army of your legion to fight and defend your right. As you gain influence you can Assemble the Legion to keep your army powerful. Gideon, Ally of Zendikar will keep your legionaries bolstered and prepared for battle. Need an emergency to be raised to fight for the final push on the territory? you can call out to a nearby village and get there help to Secure the Wastes or you could always Rally the Ancestors. When you are ready you may charge your opponents with their crimes and as punishment they will be tried to Burn at the Stake and end their tyrannical rule against you.

Abzan Falconer and Abzan Battle Priest can give you can give you an edge where you can deal 15-30 damage either in the air or as lifelink or both. This will make it very difficult for your opponents to come back as each turn you are churning out more and more tokens. Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs will offer you a safety net where if your opponent attacks you you get creatures to block their attacks along with Sphere of Safety to help mitigate any chance of large attacks. As the emperor it is your responsibility to prevent your opponents from building up their powerful armies and this can be done with Aura of Silence or you could give them a Curse of Exhaustion and limit any chance of them fighting. You may also help protect your own forces with Defense Grid to prevent something from happening without your consent. With much of this you may notice that resources get stretched thin, for this we have received a Sol Ring for quick and easy resource management and for more extensive resource demands we could call out Astral Cornucopia but remember that we have a discount due to our Ruby Medallion and Pearl Medallion. As a last resort you may work with the church and use your devotion with Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx to bolster your resources momentarily, this can be especially useful when preparing Astral Cornucopia

This deck is a very powerful deck and can be made cheaper by dropping the plainswalkers and the non basic lands as the non basic lands provide very little benefit. Although the plainswalkers work too perfectly with the strategy and just make the entire deck more powerful, they can make this deck annoying to play against.
