My first go at a Selvala, Heart of the Wilds hydra deck. Idea is to keep selvala's card draw to yourself by continuing to make bigger hydras.

Features:

  • Crazy ramp. It is possible to get Selvala, Heart of the Wilds out on turn 1 if you luck-in and get Chancellor of the Tangle + Sol Ring in your opening hand (as well as a forest).

  • Selvala, Heart of the Wilds + Umbral Mantle + any creature of power 5 or greater for infinite mana to make your Hydras extra Stompy. If you have more than 1 in your hand play them at like 65/65-ish (so you trample your opponents blockers and also kill them) and then 66/66 and then 67/67, etc. so that you take advantage of Selvala's card draw ability and create the chance of getting another Hydra!

  • Some sunburst artifacts that probably aren't strictly necessary but take advantage of Selvala, Heart of the Wilds' ability to make multicoloured mana.

  • A few equipments to protect your commander / the big monsters she summons.

  • Stuff to get the hydras out faster and fatter.

It probably has a few weak spots but i imagine it would be fun. Advice on whether i can reduce the land amount due to Selvala's ridiculous ramp and any other suggestions welcome! Hail Hydra!

Changed a few things based on comments. Cards that were very close to making the cut are in the Maybe Board.
