A deck that focuses on Hydras and ramping into Hydras.

This is not a Tribal deck, but rather, a deck that focuses heavily on a single mechanic: The +1/+1 counter.

Hydras are amazing creatures; being able to be cast for any amount of mana, they come out not necessarily the size you deserve, but rather the size you need them to be. Several of them, such as Savageborn Hydra are able to grow even after being on the battlefield, and some, such as Kalonian Hydra, allow the others to grow equally.

So this deck focuses on using the +1/+1 counter. Corpsejack Menace allows hydras to enter with twice the P/T you cast them for, and allows the growing hydras to grow even more. Bioshift is a good way to keep your +1/+1 counters floating even when you enemy kills your Hydras. Combo it with Corpsejack to move twice as many counters as you initially took off. And it would be bad to have a deck in this standard that has black and no black removal. So Dreadbore, along with the sideboard cards, are in for good removal and support. Golgari Charm is good weenie removal, enchantment hate, AND regeneration for your enemies' kill spells. Solidarity of Heroes can really make you Hydras huge and scary.
