A Haakon Knight deck, centered around using Haakon, Stromgald Scourge to play knights from the graveyard, and using Burning Vengeance to deal damage whenever a card is cast from the graveyard.

Haakon, Stromgald Scourge also has a unique synergy with Nameless Inversion, because as Nameless Inversion has changeling, and is therefore a knight, Haakon allows it to be cast from the graveyard. This would also still trigger Burning Vengeance , effectively dealing 5 damage to creatures (or 3 and 2 damage split up) for every 2 mana, without effectively using any cards.

Additionally, the ability to play knights from the grave makes it so having a creature in my hand or my graveyard is effectively the same (so long as Haakon is out and about), so I can use cards like Faithless Looting or Tormenting Voice without really losing any playable cards as a result of their discard mechanic, allowing for a lot of cheap draw with no real downsides and doubling as a way to discard Haakon.

Maybes:

Raven's Crime: Gives a much needed additionally way to discard Haakon. Can be retraced to set off Burning Vengeance in a pinch. At the very worst, it can be used to make the opponent discard.

Beseech the Queen or Diabolic Tutor: It would probably be a good idea to squeeze in a few tutors, for consistency. That being said, given how fast the deck runs through cards, tutors aren't a must have.

Any thoughts, criticisms, comments, etc? I really want some opinions or advice on this as I still have a lot to learn when it comes to deck building.

-2 Burning Vengeance, while it's great and I love theming the deck around it, it's a dead card without Haakon or Gravecrawler. The deck needs to be able to function without Haakon, and I'm going to work towards either maximizing the chance of getting him and or minimizing the damage should he never show. +1 Nameless Inversion, +1 Stromgald Crusader. I'm honestly strongly considering taking vengeance out of the deck all together, whenever I draw it I find myself wishing I hadn't. I'd have to rename the deck though. Haakon's No-Longer Burning Vengeance?

-2 Necromancer's Stockpile, it simply requires too much mana, +2 Tormenting Voice in it's place in the absence of a better draw/discard engine for little mana.

-3 Phyrexian Crusader, +3 Stillmoon Cavalier. People kept telling me it was a better choice and I denied it for far too long.

-2 Lashwrithe, +1 Sword of Feast and Famine and +1 Sword of War and Peace. While I was iffy about due to budgetary concerns. Fuck it. The Mirran swords just straight up make the deck way better. I would've gone for Fire and Ice, but... it's more than three times the price of the other two and doesn't add that much to the deck, maybe a future upgrade. For the time being, my wallet is hemorrhaging between this and what's below.

-1 Swamp, -7 Mountain, +4 Dragonskull Summit and +4 Blood Crypt. With Lash gone and Liliana reduced to 1 in the previous overhaul, I no longer have an excuse to keep dual lands out, but with one Liliana still in, and having already bitten the bullet on swords, I decided to jump for shock lands and check lands, replacing my mountains entirely with these new lands as with the addition of Stillmoon Cavalier, I'll be needing all the black mana I can possibly muster.

Thanks everyone who kept beating it into me that Phyrexian Crusader, as great as he is, really shouldn't take precedence over Cavalier.
