The Simple mission: Make opponents discard all the cards.

How?

With specters mostly. Special specters...ones that can make you discard without combat damage. (Some with too).

_Why is that important? _

Because we get them Tap:Deal damage ability so we can do instant-speed discard. Do that more with untappy thingababobers.

Why is instant-speed discard important?

Because you can force your opponent to discard during their draw phase before they can play non-instant speed spells. If they have no cards in their hand, this can soft lock them out of the game.

But that's too slow!

I know, that's why we have lots of mana rocks and bounce. Bounce is good, since they'll have to discard the things we bounce.

Is that all?

We also have things that simply tap to make people discard, but that usually is just during your own turn...
