Sideboard

With GW being my favorite color combination, this is my current list, updated from my AER version that managed to get PPTQ Top8's in a field full of mardu, copy cat, BG Constrictor and Temur Tower. It's still great :)

The deck typically starts aggressively, using that position to transition into a smooth midgame with Tireless Trackers and planeswalkers and eventually finishing the game.

Card choices:

The energy subtheme might seem odd with only Greenbelt Rampager as a payoff, but it is incredibly strong against all those 3/2's around, and while the Attune with Aether's and Aether Hub's make the mana a little less stable, it also thins your lands for more action late.

Glory-Bound Initiate is a great new aggressive creature to keep the pressure on. It's weak against ballista and Liliana, but other than that, it's just better than the alternatives. We don't want to get to 6 lands quickly to justify Sylvan Advocate, and I'm just not sold on Lambhold Pacifist.

Heart of Kiran reaches its full potential here, since all creatures crew it (especially Greenbelt Rampager with its bounce trigger on the stack), or even better, the planeswalkers.

Nissa bridges into the midgame by stalling the board, crewing Heart of Kiran, making your Elephants / Hearts bigger than theirs, or just buy time by absorbing some damage. We only play 2, because the 3-drop slots are tight and she is pretty mediocre against marvel, control, or even zombies as soon as they get menace. Gideon, on the other hand, is just too good for playing less than 4.

Avacyn and Angel of Sanctions split the 5-drop slot, with Angel of Sanctions being a true allstar against any deck, while Avacyn is a great backup against sweepers / removal once we have a board presence. Drawing a mix of these is usually better than drawing 2 of the same card.

I went to the full 4 Cast Out, replacing Stasis Snare. Being one mana cheaper can be huge, but I still prefer the flexibility of Cast Out. If anything, I would look to cut something else and just play some Stasis Snare alongside the playset Cast Out. For now, 2 Declaration in Stone get the other removal slots, since turn 2 interaction is so important against zombies.

I also like the Dissenter's Deliverance, as a maindeckable answer to Heart of Kiran, Gearhulks, Marvel, Dynavolt Tower etc.

Sideboard

The sideboard is all over the place to make the deck slower or more reactive, having some answers to anything. Numbers here can change depending on the current meta game.

Walking Ballista comes in against decks with x/1 creatures like Glory-Bound Initiate, Glint-Sleave Siphoner, Cryptbreaker, Metallic Mimic or just most very aggressive decks in general. Also consider it against UR control, since they might board into Dragonmaster Outcast.

Skysovereign is there just for zombies, as we need to kill all their synergy creatures ASAP, and the flagship is basically unkillable for them.

An additional Angel of Sanctions helps to keep zombie boards under control as well, but I board it in for almost every matchup.

Blessed Alliance can come in against midrange creature decks like BG Constrictor or RG Monsters.

The 3rd Declaration in Stone comes in against zombies.

The 4th Tracker comes in for any grindier matchup, while Bestiary is more for pure control decks.

The Brisela package is great in slow matchups as well, but the Giselas are great on their own in some matchups, especially those light on removal.

The second Dissenter's Deliverance comes in against Heart of Kiran and Marvel. I had Fragmentize in this Slot, but there are not enough enchantments in the meta to make me want it over instant Speed and cycling against artifacts. With Cast Out and Angel of Sanctions, we should be fine against random enchantments.

Speaking of Marvel, I expect Gideon's Intervention to be quite good against that, naming Marvel, or when it's already in play, Ulamog. Once Ulamog is no longer a threat, we should usually win the fair game. Intervention can also be used against UR Control. I always had it countered in testing, but if it ever resolves, naming Torrential Gearhulk should greatly increase our odds in the long game.

Final Words

The new standard will be interesting, and I will keep updating this list as the meta solidifies and I get more events in.
