Game 1: vs. Blue Red Spells Won 2-0 2-0, made sure to sacrifice Hope of Ghirapur before they could gain card draw, used heroic intervention to prevent removal targeting prowling serpopard game 2, so they couldn't counter anything, won handily with Gideon & Odric Combo.

Game 2: vs. Red Deck Wins – Lost 0-2

Got creatures out too fast and I had no removal, save for Ajani, but could never cast. Never hit Cast Out. Sided in Eerie Interlude. Gideon performed well, as he prevented a lot of damage, but got fiery tempered pretty easy. Majestic Hierarch was good but opponent was loaded with removal, strange considering it's an aggro deck that focuses on many creatures. Hazoret got in for the win. 2nd Game was severe mana screw – one land open hand, mulligan to one land open hand, with a cast out I could cycle, no land for 4 turns equals a loss.

Game 3: Vs. Temur Energy w/Bolas – Lost 1-2

Match 1 opponent was simply overloaded with removal for everything, had no interventions. Game 2 sided in Interludes, proved extremely effective against army and against Chandra, he just had no answer, Hope of Ghirapur Stand out, prevented removal. Match 3 Ajani did work at first but then searched for lands and the interludes I sided in, which resulted in enough time for opponent to get back on track and get a Bolas Out.

Overall synopsis: All-Star Plays from: Ajani's Minus ability, Eerie Interlude, Hope of Ghirapur. Weak spots: Smaller creatures die fast. Militia Captain had pretty much no showing. Majestic Myriarch looked strong at first but became less of a threat with all the removal.

Ideas: Collective Brutality seems like it could be a great card in a format that's incredibly removal-centered right now. In addition, since it's in black, Bontu's Last Reckoning and Yahenni's Expertise would also be wise considering the success of Oketra's Monument and RDW. Key here is that Monument forces you to have a way to deal with artifacts, I would suggest dissenter's deliverance as the best option. There's also this card called Claim to Fame, which reanimates 1 mana spells, like a Hope of Ghirapur, which allows you to continously prevent the opponent's control, or force them to use it on a one mana 1/1, instead of bigger beefier threats later on. There's also a slight chance I would find a way to use delirium to use pick the brain, due to it's insane card advantage spot. Consider, Hope of Ghirapur, plus Claim to Fame is already 3 of 4 for delirium by turn 2, but imo that's utilizing too much Magic Christmas Land, but it's just a thought.
