This deck absolutely has to go creature heavy to take full advantage of Descendant's Path. Utility is made up for with enter the battlefield effects on creatures.

Champions get buff on stuff entering the field. Mayors help get everyone out of board wipe range. Gavony Township is for getting everyone ripped, and as a mana sink once Descendant's Path is in full swing.
