GUIDE

survive early aggro by ramping out 3/4 drop heroics creatures to block with zhur-taa ramp or voyaging satyr/ gruul turf ramp combo.

buff said defensive creatures with heroic triggering abilities: ex. "vines of the recluse" that will trigger setessan's or staunched-hearted's +2 counter heroic while giving reach to defend flyers.

Most heroic trigger instances will also untap your blockers so you can also be on the aggressive swinging with your big creatures on your turn, and then untapping to block and make favorable combat trades with your tricks on your opponents turns.

Finisher: Burning anger / untap combo on battlemaster or your 3/4 heroic creatures to deal massive damage to opponent

DECK AUTHOR'S NOTES

suggestions and help needed. Needs a more consistent land base but what do a cut from the deck list to include 2/4 more lands and or what lands should be used?

Perhaps this list could also be converted to pauper by replacing the one rare "burning anger" with "spikeshot goblin" a common.
