MATCH RESULTS: 0-3-1 :-(

0-2 vs BR Delirium

• Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet and Dragonlord Kolaghan clocked me Game 1, and 2x Mindwrack Demon clocked me Game 2.
• Lessons: I had 1 minor mistake (kind of a thoughtless attack into Kalitas) and 1 huge one (casting Arlin while my opponent had Mindwrack Demon on the battlefield, and I had no way to block flyers. Oops!

0-2 vs Jund midrange

• I played tight, but the deck just can't move fast enough. All 4 games so far I take an early lead but just cant get there. It's like 18-6 me ... and then 0-6 them (or worse with lifelink from Kalitas).
• Lessons: I tried last week as Aggro as I could and no joy ... bumped it a little midrange this week and I think it's worse. I need to go more mid-range or try Temur/Naya/Jund.

0-2 against another Jund midrange, and then ...
1-1-1 against RW Humans

• I played tight both matches, but it wasn't nearly enough.
• The deck was especially weak to (1) Flyers and (2) Removal. SO much of both in the format. And b/c of all the removal, the deck was pretty much hateful to play. I have to rush, before I run out of gas, but rushing doesn't allow me to play around anything. The deck put me under pressure not my opponent :-(
• Thinking more about the deck ... just no way it can compete with midrange (top end is just too low).
• Impact Tremors was all-star of the evening.
