Sideboard

There are so many great one-drop/two-drop green creatures for Pauper that see almost no play in the current meta, and also Kird Ape . I built this deck to tie these great cards together to make a somewhat synergistic aggro deck that is brimming with value and very fun to play!

First off, the creatures! (4) Kird Ape needs no explanation, almost guarunteed 2/3 for only 1 cmc when he hits the board. Next, we have (4) Nimble Mongoose and (4) Werebear, both creatures utilize the Threshold mechanic, so if the game goes longer than turn 3 or 4 with this deck, these guys will more than likely come in as a 3/3 and 4/4 respectively, along with the added perk of the mana-dork effect with the Werebear. Then there is (4) Moldgraf Scavenger which will be a 3/4 more often than not, riding on a Threshold-like mechanic itself. (2) Wild Mongrel helps with graveyard options to fuel Threshold and Delirium, and is also a decent beater as well. Finnally, (4) Basking Rootwalla , a classic pairing with Wild Mongrel means that this potentially 3/3 comes out for FREE!

Next, we'll look at spells that not only feed our hungry graveyard, but give us some card advantage. (2) Satyr Wayfinder, (4) Commune with the Gods, and (4) Vessel of Nascency do the job just fine. It's important to keep in might the Delirium effect of the Moldgraf Scavenger, so the variety of disposable Enchantments, Sorceries, Creatures, and other spells are important.

For removal and other effects, we have (4) Lightning Bolts! (naturally), (2) Flame Slash, (2) Seal of Fire, (1) Mutagenic Growth, and (1) Pulse of Murasa . Finally, (1) Lotus Petal for a useful and disposable artifact.

I would like to point out that I have played this deck quite a few times, but I don't think it's quite as vetted, or refined as it could be. The mana base works for the most part, and the sideboard is sketchy at best. I just threw in cards that I figured would be fun to play relative to the possible different matchups (mostly just stuff I had on hand).

Thank you for reading! I had fun building and playing this deck, even if it's not Tier 1 or 2, the value of the spells here is hard to ignore!
