Ever since Unstable came out, I've always wanted to build a Grusilda deck for EDH. It just seems like the possibilities with this deck are endless. The simple fact that you can choose creatures from ANY graveyard means pretty much every single game is going to net you different choices.

Ultimately, it doesn't really matter all that much what you put in this deck in terms of creatures, since you'll be able to get value out of other people's graveyards as well. However, you'd want your cast to work well with the strategy.

Creatures like Spikeshot Elder and Murderous Redcap get you so much more value when combined with something that gives them higher power. Visara the Dreadful and Tsabo Tavoc become much more threatening when combined with something that allows them to untap at ease, like Pili-Pala or Hateflayer.

I decided to also include some creatures with Cycling, since you can easily chuck them into your graveyard and gain some value early in the game, then bring them back even stronger than the'd normally be.

To help you get creature's in your graveyard, I included some discard effects. Trespasser il-Vec, Zombie Infestation, Dark Deal let you discard for some value. Dark Deal in particular and other Wheel effects are interesting, since the also force opponents to discard their potential creatures. Just to be cute, I included Archfiend of Ifnir, who you can cycle early on, then bring him back and get some value out of your cycles and discards.

While mill isn't a win condition by any means, I included some cards like Altar of Dementia and Dread Summons, since they might uncover some creatures from your own or your opponents' decks. Altar can also serve as an emergency sac-outlet or can help you get creatures you might've played for early blocks into the graveyard, so you can start combining them.

Some neat combos contained in the deck

• Abyssal Persecutor and Platinum Angel: Create 10/10 flying trample that prevents anyone from either winning or losing the game.
• Goblin Sharpshooter and anything with Deathtouch (for example Vampire Nighthawk: Create a mini boardwipe on a stick.
• Spikeshot Elder and anything with Infect (for example Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon): Most likely not enough to oneshot someone but a threat nonetheless

I'm still experimenting with this deck, so I'll probably be re-editing this list. I still have to figure out which combos work best.
