This deck is a version of the ever so popular trampling elves deck that has been running around.Tournament History:
I went to the StarCity Games Open tournament on Saturday 8-11-2012 and went 3-6 with the deck. Everyone seemed to be prepared to play elves. My elves got Bonfire of the Damned and Mutilate d.
Beast Within . Playtesting against this, I had your deck locked with a Deadly Recluse +Lightning Prowess combo turn 3, so it seems to need some sort of removal mainboard.
the only problem with this deck is it dies to any kind of removal... I played against this at FNM last night with my bant deck... and a turn 4 DOJ both games just stopped it dead in it's tracks,.
Honestly I love the idea, however there is one problem, sometimes when it seems that everyone was ready for your deck, it means what you are trying really just won't work xD I would say you need a more consistent creature base, and every time I see a deck with just 1 of whatever card, even though tutors help, I say something just because I feel its silly haha, if you think a card is good enough to be in a deck, it should be good enough to have more than 1 of it

Options:
- Go for a more consistent build,
- Don't play elves.
I like it, but it's not consistent enough to stand against mbc and not fast enough to handle delver.August 13, 2012 1:16 a.m.
