More changes —March 1, 2016

After some testing of the cards that were suggested by Chiefbell I have changed the deck once more. I didn't end up using the arbor elves due to the fact that they just weren't working out often enough to be worth it, but I did hold on to Rampant Growth and Utopia Sprawl, as they were very useful.

I would just run two more of Druid's Deliverance in the side board instead of Clinging Mists because it costs less and helps your board presence. Also, you should consider Sundering Growth for enchantment/artifact removal. Also, I'd go with 4 Alpha Authority, and cut one of the Growing Ranks (because you don't completely focus on tokens it can gunk up your draw, like drawing or top decking that while you don't have any tokens out won't help you) and maybe a land, because your curve is high, but maybe not 24 lands high.

As a potential replacement for Slime Molding, you could maybe run Gutter Grime? I dunno. If you want more card Draw, Hunter's Insight is pretty great.

I have to say, i really love the theme/flavor of the deck. Looks like a really fun one.

Dang I forgot to tell you about Rancor! the best darn Green Aura around! Great for giving things Trample, and lowering your curve a little. Also that value is hard to beat.

Thanks for your suggestions Mr. (Or Ms, can never be sure, right?) RedgarRedbeard!

I think I might cut out the two acidic slimes and replace them with Sundering Growth seeing as it does the same thing as what I was using Acidic Slime for, except it costs less and just so happens to be an instant.

Nevermind the fact that Rancor looks just absolutely amazing, though I'm not sure what I'd remove to make room for it. Maybe one each from Predator Ooze and Experiment One?

Other than that, I'll probably get rid of a Growing Ranks like you suggested and maybe cut into a Hardened Scales as well to make room for the two more Alpha Authorities.

You have no idea how bad I am with drawing land. I almost always either draw nearly all land or no land, so having land available in case I end up with the latter is something I tend to kind of prioritize.

23 lands is questionable in a deck that plays 4 and 5 drops but you do have Gyre Sage so it MIGHT be ok. Though it is likely youre going to find yourself wishing you had more land a lot.

The deck here isa bit slow and doesn't do a lot very quickly. It also lacks control elements meaning that it just allows the opponent to do whatever they want. Having a slow deck that doesn't interact with the opponent is a bad thing.

Try accelerating the deck with things like Rampant Growth, Utopia Sprawl and Arbor Elf.

Thank you for your suggestions ChiefBell! I really appreciate your help. And I am considering what you've suggested now, though I now wonder, how come you would put in Utopia Sprawl and not Abundant Growth? I know that they do generally somewhat different things, what with Abundant Growth potentially outright getting rid of the mana gain of the other land you put it on compared to Utopia Sprawl which just allows you to gain two mana for just one tapped land, but the ability to choose whatever colour mana you want to draw each turn seems really good to me compared to the static gain of a mana colour you choose at the time of playing it like with Utopia Sprawl. Aside from that, Rampant Growth seems super good to me, and Arbor Elf seems super strong in conjunction with Utopia Sprawl/Abundant Growth. Aside from giving a really strong early game with both experiment one and it on the same turn potentially.

Anything that lets you play 3 mana cards on turn 2 is good. Abundant Growth doesn't actually let you do this. You can activate the land OR the enchantment ability, not both.

Utopia sprawl gives you 3 mana on turn 2.

Abor elf gives you 3 mana on turn 2

Theyre good cards.

Thanks for clearing that up with me, ChiefBell. I really appreciate your input. Though now I'm considering what I want to replace to make room for these cards you've suggested, I have a feeling I already know what I want to replace to make room for Rampant Growth, though that I'm still considering somewhat as well. Do you have any suggestions, friend? Before I go and edit the deck?

Gyre sage first because it's not as good as the others.

Then -1 mitotic slime OR -1 doubling season

Then -1 ooze flux or growing ranks

Perhaps then -1 sundering growth.

Thanks again ChiefBell for all of your suggestions, I'll mull over them after I get off of work. Until then, cheers and you have a good day. Or night. Whatever state of time you happen to be in, have a good one.
