Description

I realized Heartless Summoning turns Priest of Urabrask into a red Dark Ritual and I got excited so I built this.

Turn 2 drop heartless. Turn 3 drop priest, titan, and metamorph for 2 titans on turn 3. BOOM!

Constantly tweaking this deck. I'd like to fit Solemn Simulacrum and Ponder s in here. Thoughts always appreciated and encouraged

My advice if this is just a rough draft is to float around and take a peek at other heartless decks on here. It helped fuel my inspiration for my own heartless deck.

i love the way grixis is being used in standard, and this is a great concept with the Priest of Urabrask . +1 from me!

Thanks! It's kinda pretty situational, but the potential is awesome. and if they're Frost Titan s I can keep my opponent locked down real nice.

I wanna add Rune-Scarred Demon s and Solemn Simulacrum s but I'm not sure what to take out. Any suggestions?

I just built a heartless deck as well, That Priest of Urabrask combo is awesome.

Definitely add Rune-Scarred Demon and possibly Perilous Myr - he's good at buying time in case you don't draw Heartless Summoning right away.

I'd drop Bloodgift Demon he's awesome for draw but if you got all 3 you wouldn't really want to plose 3 life a turn and you don't want to give your opponents extra cards. Replace him with 3x Rune-Scarred Demon . -- He's a 6/6 flyer and you can use him to draw more copies of himself/metamorph.

Considering that you will consistently be tapped out for the first couple turns I doubt mana leak is going to do anything but sit in your hand until your opponent has enough mana to ignore it anyway, I'd consider dropping it in favor of +1 Dissipate and +3 Gitaxian Probe

That's my $.02 - +1 btw.

I don't wanna drop all the Bloodgift Demon s, cause he's my only draw engine, but dropping one wouldn't hurt, and maybe an Urabrask the Hidden cause of his legendaryness I don't wanna see 2, and I'll put in 2 Rune-Scarred Demon .

And mana leak is in here for stalling purposes when I don't start with heartless summoning in my hand.

Without heartless summoning this deck runs ok, just real slow. Kinda like a regular grixis deck but with not as many answers. Though the priest still pulls his weight without summoning cause he can get out Myr Superion

+1 my friend, I playtested it a few times and it's really sick. Using Sheoldred, Whispering One 1st abilitie to bring back Priest of Urabrask each turn gives you RRR each turn for free :D This of course when Heartless Summoning is in play to kill the priest each turn.

Very true, I didn't even realize that lol. Wonder if I should add card:Devil's Play for some mana overabundance shenanigans

I like the concept, but how often do you actually get a Phyrexian Metamorph , 2x Priest of Urabrask , a Titan, and Heartless Summoning in your hand by turn 3?

Playtesting I managed to have in turn 4 an Inferno Titan and a Phyrexian Metamorph copying it :DD If that is not a WIN i don't know what it is.

Thanks for the love guys! I was thinking about removing a priest, mana leak, doom blade, and 1 land for 4 of either Ponder , Solemn Simulacrum , or Skinrender . Just not sure which one would be the most useful
