Grixis Greed (Standard MTG Deck)

Revel in Riches is the alternate win condition introduced in ixalan. One of my previous builds attempted to win by creatures producing treasures but was slow, clunky, and inconsistent. I created this deck to show a nice and consistent deck that removes opponents creatures until you pull ahead. This deck runs lots of removal to build off the ability of Revel in Riches that creates treasures when an opponents creature dies

The Deck

Brass's Bounty is one of the biggest cards in our deck, getting us around 7/10 of the way to winning. Opt and Chemister's Insight are our best draw spells while Treasure Map allows us to sift through our deck and create treasures. Shock is our cheapest removal and can even finish off opponents. Cast Down and Walk the Plank are relatively cheap and remove our opponents creatures. Lightning Strike and Murder are our more costly removal but get the job done too. A few Counterspells are run to keep our opponent in check.

Sideboard

I’m running a Thousand year storm to test how it might work in this deck. Other than that we fill with draw, removal, and counters to our opponents spells. I also run one Deadeye Tracker to combat golgari decks.
