I feel like Grixis Energy has dethroned Temur Energy to become the best deck in Standard, as of Rivals of Ixalan. It is loaded with some of the most powerful cards in the format (Rekindling Phoenix and Dreamstealer), but there is a very high mana curve, which doesn't do you any favors. It also is weak against resolved enchantments. All the diverse amount of lands make mana fixing a nonexistent problem, so I wouldn't suggest finding any cheaper replacements, other than maybe Magic Origin's pain lands. The Scarab God has been the format defining card ever since Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger rotated out of Standard, and he works surprisingly well in the deck. And, let's be honest, Rekindling Phoenix is just so fun to play!
