This is the aether revolt deck I ultimately decided on. I'm obsessed with Baral, Chief of Compliance as a nice loot engine who simultaneously reduces the costs of instant and sorcery spells. In an Izzet madness deck, he reigns supreme. However, I've been playing a casual Grixis deck before this, using the Tezzeret Planeswalker deck that I modified. But really, I wanted a way to use Baral and Tezzeret, Master of Metal in a competitive setting. The only foreseeable adjustment I intend on making to this deck in the future is if I happen upon a couple copies of Heart of Kiran. As someone who's favorite Planeswalker always has, and always will be Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded I'm not looking to impress anyone with this deck. But if you already own these cards, I'd recommend taking it for a test run. It is actually a fun deck that wins via pinging combos including Thermo-Alchemist, Tezzeret's Simulacrum and Paradox Engine. If you actually get Tezzeret, Master of Metal on the field, the simulacrum becomes a pseudo lightning bolt. Top it off with the Paradox Engine and you will find the match can go quite quickly in your favor. The other method of winning in this deck is with the raunchy beater Bedlam Reveler whom this deck has no problem casting for RR. Hope you enjoy.
